On April 26, 2012, MetLife Bank announced its exit from the reverse mortgage business and will no longer accept new reverse mortgage loan applications and registrations after April 30, 2012. Nationstar Mortgage LLC will purchase MetLife Bank’s reverse mortgage servicing portfolio.
